I dream of hundreds of Hundertwasserhaus Cities

I dream of colourful cities… This apartment house in the Landstrasse district of Vienna is called Hundertwasserhaus. It is named after its creator, the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. It reminds me of Gaudi’s architecture in Barcelona, Spain.

What’s special about the house is not only its colourful facade but also its irregular forms and uneven floors. Inside the rooms large trees grow and its roof is covered with earth and grass.

I don’t know about you but I already started daydreaming about cities where all streets and squares are surrounded by colourful buildings, where not the norms but the creativity rules. I dream of cities where people interact with nature in their everyday life, inside their houses. I dream of a world, of hundreds of cities in which colours and deformation present equality and individuality.
